KIDS CAN DRIVE
Dan sometimes hears new mobility companies today looking for a “visionary” mayor to work with deploying their offering. Unfortunately, there are few to none mobility visionaries in public office in the US. Dan does not feel politicians will back highly innovate new mobility ideas unless they know their constituents actually want them. Therefore Dan has been researching the best way to introduce a neighborhood or even a city in bold new transportation ideas. Dan feels engaging “kids” (of all ages) in "co-designing" their city’s next mobility system is an important and key approach (to what will be a larger effort).
In this test for a TV show concept called “Kids Can Drive”, Dan presents ideas to (7th graders) and then listens to their resulting design ideas.
The video has voiceovers from the participating kids' parents, who liked the project.
